The Parish

Speldhurst Parish comprises of four villages – Langton Green; Speldhurst; Ashurst and Old Groombridge. We are constantly finding new avenues to search – individual members have their own historical interests, whether it is Roman, Medieval, Norman, Georgian, Regency or the latter centuries. All villages have known history going back at least a thousand years – so still much to uncover
