Ashurst Parish

Formerly a civil parish, the village is situated right on the East Sussex and Kent border. The village’s most notable feature is the beautiful Norman church, originally built in the 11th century. The River Medway runs through the village, important for transport links in times gone by. Today, there is a railway station with services to London.
