History Society
SPHS was founded in 2021 with a mission to help protect the history of the four villages in Speldhurst Parish, and to enhance where possible information gathered from many sources close to and far from home.
Our Approach
We are a group of amateur history enthusiasts who like nothing better than to solve a centuries old mystery; or to discover something entirely new from the past about where we, and our neighbours live. To search the local archives and come across a name which connects with today. And to use LIDAR and Geophysical scanning to search deeper for the past.
